As an artist myself, I hated feeling like I couldn't communicate with engineers and producers about my vision. I'd have to sacrifice vibe and creativity for their idea of what was "right".

This has pushed me as a mixer and producer to work with artists to understand their music and what they're trying to say, so I can help them figure out how to get the most out of their music without sacrificing what made it awesome in the first place.
